The Glorious Loser

I used to always come 4th in all school sports competition . Mom said that was a convenient result for me. Won't deny It.

But sometimes losing can be fun.

For instance the last week of my life. Just as eventful as all previuos weeks have been. Except that i lost 700 bucks bowling with my boss. Shish what was i doing playing with him at 5 bucks a point.

Then the card session with the entire brand team. All our creativity which tobacco intolerant times prevent us from presenting ,getting manifested in crazy variations in a stupid little 3 card game.thank god i cut my losses to only 170 Rs.

And then Argus open..arguably one of India's most time tested quizzes. Its 28 years old, and i only 24 going on 25.

Our team was the youngest . Avg age of the podium on the other side of 40. I was probably the 4th youngest finalist. 4 is my lucky number. We were also on table 4 . hey but we finished a spirited 5th. But The words just make it look nice. Were actually at a score half of the winner which is not so gr8.

But then i went into the quiz only wanting a podium finish.

Next week and Next year might be different. My Boss has already rechanllenged me for a game of bowling.
